Re. COVID-19 (coronavirus)
Updated: April 2022
All classes are running in studio. We continue to encourage masks to be worn inside our venues and especially in the corridor next to the doctor surgery at EDA Studio.
There are no longer any official covid regulations for attending our classes but we continue to ask our customers to be courteous and thoughtful of others. Avoid attending sessions when ill. Keep distance where possible. Continue to use the hand sanitisers provided. Test yourself if you are a contact person. And wear masks where distance can not be maintained, whilst moving around the building (except the class) and where you are a close contact person.
Thank you for your continued support.
—————
Masks ages 6+ (FFP2 for 14 +) to be worn inside at all times (except for the dance class. Parents in parent assisted class should continue to wear masks where possible):
– Dancers should arrive ready to dance (other than shoes) where possible.
– Only 1 adult should accompany pupils. We recommend staying offsite wherever possible.
– Please bring your own drinks bottles (these can be refilled)
– Disinfect hands when entering the premises and again on departure and during the session as needed
– Please do not come to class if you are ill, especially if you have any of the symptoms of Covid-19. In this case call 1450 for further advice.
As always we will keep our enrolled pupils and parents updated via email.
Should classes be cancelled due to covid-19 reasons (ie lockdown / quarantine) sessions will transfer to Zoom.
Please be advised that we clean and ventilate our venues regularly and disinfect between classes. We avoid using shared props and whilst social distancing in dance has been removed teachers continue to avoid contact wherever possible.
All teachers are fully vaccinated and test regularly, as well as adhering to the hygiene recommendations and safety guidance.

We at the EDA are keeping a close eye on the advice of the World Health Organisation and in particular the Austrian authorities and below you will find our current procedures and terms and conditions related to Covid-19 and to ensure our sessions can run Covid-securely.
The health and safety of our pupils, team members and their families is of the upmost importance to us and it is vital we work together to follow these procedures to allow our sessions to run covid-securely whilst also maintaining the integrity and magic of our classes.
General guidelines from the local health authority:
Please check the official government website for up to date information for Austria:

Masks are mandatory in many places, always carry one with you and ensure it covers both mouth and nose when worn.
You should continue to social distance (atleast 1m) as much as possible during this time from anyone not within your household and continue to follow the hygienic measures including –
Washing hands and wrists regularly for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water, particularly when coming home or when going in to a new area, before and after preparing food, after going to the toilet or helping your child and whenever hands are visibly dirty.
Use hand sanitiser when soap and water is not available or when your hands are not visibly dirty (again rubbing in properly for 20 seconds).
Cough or sneeze into your elbow or a tissue. Throw the tissue away and wash hands immediately afterwards.
Stay inside completely and away from others if you are unwell. Keep atleast 2 metre distance from others, especially from anyone that is showing signs of a cold or illness.
Avoid touching your face, especially mouth, eyes and nose.
If you are worried in any way you are advised to call AGES for help/advice on 0800 555 621 (7 days a week, 24 hours).
If you feel ill (particularly with any of the following: coughing, fever or high temperature, breathing problems and/or loss of taste or smell) and/or have reason to believe you may have COVID-19 do not go direct to the doctor or hospital but call 1450 in advance (available 24 hours)
It is your responsibility to check the rules and regulations for travelling to and from Austria (both those of Austria and those related to any country/ries you may be visiting – even if just in transit). You can find information here:
